Enfield is one of Sydney’s older inner western suburbs, situated between Burwood and South Strathfield. Like many of the suburbs surrounding it, Enfield has a very high immigrant population which gives the suburb a vibrant and exciting cultural aspect to the area.

Like the suburbs of Leichardt and Summer Hill, Enfield has almost ten percent of the population identifies as of Italian descent. Yet despite this Enfield has maintained a cosmopolitain suburb taking into account the other influences in the area of Asian and European population mix. This has led to the suburb having a large variety of shops and cafes with different cuisines and wares.

Enfield is only thirteen kilometres out of the CBD, and is well serviced by several bus routes. Residents of Enfield can also use the nearby station at Burwood, Burwood is a main station with many services going to and from the city as well as further out west and also towards the north and hills districts.

Residents enjoy an incredibly convenient and easy commute to the city through these services, and get the benefit of being far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
