Hunters Hill is a suburb in Sydney’s North Shore. Hunters Hill is situated 9 kilometres north of the central business district. Hunters Hill can be found wedged between the Lane Cove and Parramatta Rivers.

It is a small peninsula that it’s quite expensive to live in. It can be reached by public transport as there is various bus stations and ferry wharfs surrounding the area.

Many of the suburbs early houses were built from the local sandstone. A Frenchman built many artistic houses from 1847 by hiring many Italian stonemasons.

Hunters Hill is host to various heritage listed sites. Many of these are homes as well as buildings. Being situated between the headwaters of Sydney Harbour, Lane Cove River and Parramatta River, many homes have water and harbour views.

According to a 2016 census 69.1% of Hunters Hill residents were born in Australia. The median household income was above average at $2,700 per week and the median monthly mortgage repayments were $3,500.
